Welcome to the De Nisco Lab website. Current research focuses on recurrent urinary tract infection (RUTI) as part of a long-standing and productive clinical collaboration with the Department of Urology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Our groundbreaking interdisciplinary research combines unique access to clinical samples with state-of-the-art techniques from fields of molecular microbiology, cell biology and immunology to discover how both microbe and host contribute to one of the most widespread global diseases affecting millions of women today.
